Joshua Farrell was born in 1967 in Glendale California. Before settling down to raise a family in Lockhart, TX in 1994, Joshua lived in Belize, Guatemala and New York City.
In 1992, Joshua turned to making metal sculptures. His work has been displayed in galleries in Guatemala and Californis with pieces being purchased by residents in Guatemala, Honduras, California and Texas.
In 2008, the Seton Network of Hospitals commissioned Joshua to make a metal sculpture that now hangs at the Seton Hays Hospital.
"The Tree of Life", the piece Joshua created, was displayed and garnered the "Best in Show" award at the 2008 Buda Fine Arts Festival.
All of Joshua's works are unique and original. From whimsy to industrial to intense symbolism, the range of topics that shown through his inspirations is without boundaries. Using black iron, metal and acrylic paints, the images he creates reflect amazing workmanship and creativity.
